Grzegorz Ciechowski's 1996 album, the first on the Polish market to combine modern rhythms, electronic music, and rock with Polish folk songs, is the album's most famous song. "Piejo kury, piejo" is a folk chant combined with a club-dance rhythm and rock guitar. This folk melody, combined with a club-dance rhythm and rock guitar, was very different from the music played on radio stations in the second half of the 1990s. It was impossible not to notice it. The album itself was the result of the artist's fascination with recordings unearthed from the Polish folk archives. The album "ojDADAna" launched a trend for folk music in Poland.
To celebrate Record Store Day Black Friday, "ojDADAna" will be released in a limited edition of 300 copies on clear vinyl.
