Bryan Guy Adams (born November 5, 1959) is a Canadian guitarist, singer, composer, record producer, photographer, philanthropist and activist.
Adams gained fame in Canada and the United States with the album Cuts Like a Knife from 1983. The 1984 Reckless album made him a world star and resulted in some of his most famous songs, including "Run to You", "Summer of '69" and the US number one hit "Heaven". In 1991, Adams released the album Waking Up the Neighbors, which included the song "(Everything I Do) I Do It for You"; the song became a global hit, peaked at number one in many countries and topped the UK charts for a record 16 straight weeks. Other American Billboard Hot 100 singles by Adams include "All for Love" and "Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman?". Adams released his Ultimate collection in 2017; featured two new songs: "Please Stay" and "Ultimate Love". He co-wrote his first Broadway musical, Pretty Woman: The Musical, in 2018.

For his contributions to music, Adams has won numerous awards and nominations, including 20 Juno Awards among 56 nominations and 15 Grammy nominations, including Best Song Written Specially for Film or Television in 1992. Adams has been nominated for five Golden Globe Awards and three Academy Awards for his songwriting for films. Adams has been inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Canada's Walk of Fame, Canadian Broadcast Hall of Fame, and Canadian Music Hall of Fame. In 2008, Adams was ranked 38th on the Billboard Hot 100 50th Anniversary Charts for Best Artists of All Time. On May 1, 2010, Adams received the Governor General Performing Arts Award for 30 years of contributions to the arts
